I love it when you can operate sliders in a software by hovering the cursor over them and turning the mouse wheel. Makes things so much easier and quicker. Why can’t they all do that?

I would say keep it simple and classic. The charcoal suit sounds fine. For a shirt, just wear a white or light blue button up shirt. For a tie, you can literally wear anything if you have a white or light blue button up shirt. I suggest navy for a bit of color.
